Task:
Created a documentation web for WIP, a cool software company, and their own developed platform DynApp. The web will mainly be used by developers and clients using DynApp in their daily work.
The web is targeting both developers, who are familiar with tech, and clients that have no experience of tech at all.
The web needs to be easily navigated while nice looking. There is a lot of text and terms that need to be shown right and raw while not scaring away the non-developers.
I worked closely together with a colleague that is a web developer during this whole project to be able to ideate and get a developers perspective during the work process.
The colors and fonts are from WIPs brand guidelines to make a connection to the company behind DynApp.
Startpage
Startpage to demonstrate and explain shortly what Dynapp is, a quote from WIPs CTO and to show what business that is already using the platform.
About
A more detailed view for a deeper explanation of what DynApp is.
Search is always available in the top right corner since they will have different kinds of visitors. Developers often know what they are looking for while some other visitors whats to click around.
Search results
We are using a list to the left side on the screen to always be able to easily navigate in the documentation-view.
For mobile, we are using the same view but with a back-button to make use of the whole screen while reading the documentation. The breadcrumb helps you to keep track of where you are.
